We all know that our pets are creatures of habit who are usually at their best in a familiar routine. We, however, are all away from home sometimes, whether for the pleasure of a holiday, the needs of business, hospital treatment, emergency or other reason.

The Pet Homecare Agency was established in 1996 to provide a home based alternative to kennels and catteries and provides reliable, affordable and high quality pet care services.

First and foremost, we love animals and care about pets.

We now provide the area's premier service for pet care from a visiting service to walk your dog while you are at work or feed your cat, rabbit or other pets while you travel to the provision of a live in carer. Some of our sitters will also welcome pets to stay in their own homes.  We are available 365 days a year, whenever you have to be apart from your pet.

If you have a special requirement, such as a pet who is injured, convalescing, very young or elderly we can provide a tailored service to meet the needs of both yourself and your pet.

Based in Hertfordshire, we regularly provide services throughout the South of England and on occasions overseas.

All of our pet carers are carefully vetted and most have worked for us for many years.  We pride ourselves on the fact that most of our business is either repeat business or referrals from happy customers.

Pet carers provide care and replicate a pet owners role for your pet whenever, for whatever reason, you cannot.  The type of services provided include: Welfare Check Feeding - fresh food and water or special diet Hygiene - cleaning bowls, litter trays, bedding Exercise - walking and playing Routine - existing routines can be maintained Companionship and interaction Grooming - as required Medication - as prescribed

Sometimes your pets need special care when you are away or even when you are at home.  An illness or an injury can require additional personal attention while you are at work or because you have other pets.  The Pet Homecare Agency offers special services to help make sure your pets receive the attention you want for them.
